Note to Readers:
A big part of my university years was spent volunteering. When I was younger, I volunteered to gain skills and put what I learned in school to practice. When I got older, I realized volunteering for a cause is the least I can do as a human being to contribute to a better society. Of all the causes, I was most passionate about youth development and leadership. Most of the projects I did involved bridging the skill gap and bringing diverse experiences to students, of which they may not get from school education alone.

Position: Vice President of Marketing
This is a student society based in Hult International Business School London. We promote the practice of design thinking through facilitating monthly workshops for students and general participants.

Position: Team Leader of Programming
We pioneered the first TED-Ed Student Club program in Cambodia with guidance and support from TED. In this project, our goal is to ignite ideas in young students and develop their public speaking skills. This program goes over 3 months, but due to COVID-19 pandemic, we had a minor delay and moved the event online.
What I did:
Encouraged ideas in young students through creating course curriculum on TED style public speaking.
Led a group of facilitators to train students in workshops.
Trained the facilitators on how to deliver sessions.
Coached students on their speech and presentation slide.
IGNITE TALK
Position: Project Leader
Ignite Talk is a series of speedy presentations where
presenters get 20 slides, which automatically advance every 15 seconds. It is a global event that we brought to our local university to provide a platform for students to speak out their ideas as well as gaining new perspectives from speakers from different backgrounds.
AIESEC IN CAMBODIA

AIESEC is a global youth organisation aiming to develop leadership potential in youth. To achieve that, they operate global exchange programs where university students do a project abroad for 6 weeks to gain experience and leadership skills. AIESEC is represented in more than 120 countries around the world.
