(Call me Mony)

DRIVEN BY PRACTICAL LEARNING.
At university, I always questioned the traditional way of learning, as in students sitting in class listening to lectures for hours and hours. I was driven by the act of learning from doing, in other words, practical experience. I joined an international youth organization called AIESEC, where I learned real skills to lead projects and social movements. I learned the importance of cross-cultural understanding in leadership, developing skills to solve problems, and most importantly, to be a person of positive impact. What I did in AIESEC has shaped my career in marketing until today. Instead of sitting in lectures, I went out to work on real projects and learn by experimenting.
Today, I strive to be a fast-learner through practice.
GROUNDED BY GOOD HABITS.
The most part of my life has been shaped by lifestyle YouTubers. In high school, I followed many aspirational individuals who lived boldly and designed their life for better performance and productivity. From them, I learned the importance of building good habits. I adopted reading diverse range of genres, meditation, exercise, and journaling habits. To date, those habits have been helping me grow personally and professionally.
By reading about different topics, I have broaden my mind and knowledge on different fields and I have developed reading skills that are benefiting me greatly in my master’s degree. By doing meditation and exercise (CrossFit & Running), I have built a stronger mentality for dealing with everyday issues and I have found a way to reduce stress and balance my outer and inner self. By journaling, I have learned to organize my thoughts and structure my ideas in a more concise way. I have also become more creative by putting my thoughts on paper.
GENERALIST.
INNOVATION.
PURPOSE.
I am a generalist at heart. I enjoy learning new skills and understanding complex ideas. However, I have yet to develop a specialization. I can do design, copywriting, videography and editing, but I wouldn’t say I am an expert at any. I would need more years of experience and projects to get there, and I know I will.
I love technology and innovation, and I truly believe it has the potential to solve many problems in the world. My goal is to be part of an organization that solves a problem through innovation. I sincerely am driven by helping them achieve their bigger purpose.
